The McGuffey Readers sound familiar to me, Deer, but I can't imagine they were still using them when we learned how to read?!
Ha! I hope not ;) I took my MAT classes in the building behind Professor McGuffey's bust. We visited Alex last Friday & I had wanted to snap this shot. I find him inspirational.
